Netflix

Rake is class once it gets going. Season one starts off a bit mainstream but once it gets going it reminds me of Californication. Cleaver Green is one of the all time great memorable TV characters IMO.

Ah man, Louis Litt is probably the best character in it once it gets going!

Very much so. Or at least a loads funnier arsehole rather than regular arsehole.
You watched Maron?
It's got a similar vibe
Single bloke bumbling around
I like it

no idea
probably

Master Of None - Aziz Ansari playing himself in a fictional comedy version of his life as a struggling standup comedian failing to find work.

Real Rob - Rob Schneider playing himself in a fictional comedy version of his life where he's a bit (more) of an asshole.

Curb Your Enthusiasm - Seinfeld creator/writer Larry David playing himself in a semi-improvised fictional comedy version of his life.

The top two are definitely worth watching. I could never get into Curb but loads of people rave about it.

Just watched the first 5 episodes of Bloodline last night. It was a slow burner to start with but is definitely binge watch material.

Hinterland. Atmospheric crime investigation series set in north Wales, with lots of grey/blue damp photography and scenery and loads of Welsh hillbilly retard characters, ritual killings, police corruption, child abuse and the lead character's thoughtful and troubled face gazing into the horizon. Some fantastically creepy locations and people to enjoy, like a Welsh "True Detective part one".

It's slow-paced but sucks you in.
