NFL 2018

Flacco traded to the Broncos, bizarre move for the Broncos not really that much of an upgrade on Keenum and going to take up a lot of cap room.

Didn't think Flacco would play on. He genuinely never looks arsed. Can't see how he'll do much more than Keenum though.

Pure football this shite. If hats can stay on there for a week, then this might as well

Has Flacco had a good season since they won the Super Bowl? Thought he'd be a bridge QB somewhere for a year, with a team drafting a QB but Keenum could do that.

Seems to be some rumours of Foles to Jags too.

Come on mate, he's far better than Keenum

Apart from being 104-72 regular season, 10-5 in the play offs and having 24 TDs - 4 INT in last 10 playoff games he's been far better than the media portray. He was on for a season best before he went down this season and LJ took over. His playoff record alone is better than some franchises and his WR corps have largely being sub par.

With having Sanders, Sutton, Hamilton and Lindsey at RB he'll have a decent season and probably make the playoffs again tbh

He had an amazing playoff run in the Super Bowl year, probably the best of any QB since I've been watching. I also seem to recall the Ravens have being the team to give the Pats more playoff trouble than anyone.

But what are Flacco's regular season stats since the SB win? I bet they're average at best. Seems like the Ravens have had a good defence forever and yet he's not been able to make many playoff runs in the post SB part of his career.

On a weekly basis you've seen him more than me so I could be wrong but that's my opinion.

Edit: He still should've been given the 2nd half vs the Chargers in the game in January mind.

He's turned down the pro bowl 3 times if i remember right. Since he never made an appearance in that it effectively means he's had the most passing attempts (5,760), passing yards (38,245) and TDs (212) of any player and not played

But you need to remember we're a franchise who lets be honest have failed to really put an offense in place for him to succeed. He's never had a bona fide tier 1 receiver majority of his career and OCs were changing on a yearly basis basically.

Make no bones though, since that terrible knee injury 4 years ago he's not been the same and stats drop terribly. Doesn't help when hes throwing to Perriman and Aiken though :(

Disagree with that personally, if you look back Marty Mornhinwegs play calling basically threw jackson under the bus and it wasn't until we started utilising his skill set we got right back into the game. Thats fully on the coaching staff refusing to adapt after turning over the Chargers the week or two prior

He used to be but these days? The only thing he seems capable of now is checkdowns! Having said that I'm pleased he's gone from your lot as I've seen him tear through the Steelers enough times.

Well he had a QB Rating of 109.5 for 363 yards and 2 TD vs yous this season so still has it ;). Sure he was on for statistically his best season this year before going down with the injury. With the Broncos def, Flacco with the WRs he has + Lindsey that they have a decent shot at a good NFC run

I'll take your word for it and like I said I've seen him tear us apart enough times so I'm glad he's gone but looking at his stats he's been a very average QB apart from in the Play Offs and against us!

As for the Broncos they also stole o line coach Mike Munchak from us and he's been a big part of why the Steelers O line has been top 3 over the last few seasons so that's another plus for Flacco.
