Honeyman

Haven't seen a second of the game today but thought it was worth flagging. People like Hongkongphooey spend all day just slagging off the same players after every game and will never change their stance no matter what. When there's a blatant bias in play it's worth calling out imo or else it ends up drowning the board.

Fair play. As I said I’ve defended Honeyman but I just don’t think the role he’s been asked to play in the last couple of weeks is him and if Ross wants to play that way we’ve got better options in McGeady or Maguire.

Agree completely. Ross is not getting the most out of this side. It's worrying.

We were effectively playing with 10 men today. Him coming into the side has coincided with possibly our 2 worst performances this season. Odd that...

Agree completely, he offers nothing. I could see why if we had nobody we'd play him, but Maguire and O'Nien are streets ahead of him.

How on earth is he still in the team when we have better options in the squad. Another game he players behind the striker and our forward looked isolated. Does nothing in most games and is an automatic pick. You'd be extremely disappointed if you were Maguire and especially O'Nien that someone with such little ability is an ahead of them.

Bang on! Got to feel sorry for O'Nien

Honeyman in theory makes things tick, he’s had a few matches where he has actually done this, when he has driven us forward with some intent.

However, he has had too many games where his impact has been minimal and he gives possession away very cheaply trying things that don’t work. If he keeps playing like that, we might as well have O’Nien, Watmore or McGeady playing more centrally to link better with Grigg.
