Anyone else noticed that on a cold and busy day you can see loads of people in NFL team hats in the south stand? I counted 17 different teams at the Bradford game

It's the in thing. Everyone wants to be seen to be an NFL fan.

Personally I wear four different NFL bobble hats, one on top of the other, I switch depending on who I'm talking to about NFL. If they know about the game more than I do, I just leg off (full sprint) mid convo.

Some strange people here. Lots of people like the NFL in Britain and a lot of NFL fans buy a hat as it's probably the best value item you can buy and wear. Plus, most NFL fans actually do enjoy meeting other fans who understand the game and wearing something like a hat is a good ice-breaker.
