How do you measure it? I think the fact we've not not scored and we've only been beaten twice means we are and I think it'll be positive for our confidence, though performances do need to improve hence the January signings. You seem to think momentum just means being better though.

That’s pretty much the question I was asking. Not sure I’d describe us as playing with momentum, we seem to be continually scraping results.

So, appreciate the win with the dour performance and the subsequent three points.

Then we have twelve games, to get it together with the new players and play positive pacy winning for. Hopefully win them all, but to be honest win them poor, win then fantastic, really at this stage it is the win that matters.

Style and substance matters less than the points for us in reality.

I don't think it's a coincidence at all we're 'constantly scraping' results, we're a very good team at this level even if some are disappointed with our form. It would be nice to be a Reid (99) or Keane promotion side, rather than a McCarthy one but as long as we go up and we keep 'scraping results' is all that really matters. I think our form will pick up with the introduction of Grigg and the extra options we've got, but also with the weather.

We have a lot of good very expensive players. I’m not sure we are a good team.
I’m not sure grigg will make much difference we don’t create anything.
 
I thought we were okay for a fair bit of the match today, and for a League One side which, should anyone be forgetting, is what we are.

Mostly we are trying to play, but lack a real focal point now. Hopefully Grigg will help there, Honeyman looked good today, as did Morgan and James. We badly needed a win and we won. Do for me that.
 
I haven't read all the replies but on way out of the ground we actually discussed if it was time to question Jack's tactics and even postulated what the SMB reaction would be to such a thread. We agreed that it would get dogs abuse, but also agreed that its worthy of discussion.
