Agreed. A bit more than we'd have paid in an ideal world but he is as close as you'd get to guaranteed goals on league one.....if he sends us up the ends justifies the means.

If I'm being picky I'd rather have signed Marquis or Moore as I think they have more to offer long term but theyre both more of a risk.

No one can argue that Donald didn’t back Ross. Ross must feel good with them behind him. Much respect to our owners. With a new centre back and improved midfield added creativity and a few attacking options, I expect us to kick on.

I'm not worried about a fee, I'm worried about it falling through, understandbly. If griggs goals get us up then it'll pay dividends, even at the roumered 4m price tag. If they don't go up then he's got next year to have a good go at it up top for us.


It is a fact we need to go up this year though!
 
Yep Wigan press are saying £4 mil with add ons, is that fee inclusive? There must be a big add on if we achieve promotion and how many goals he scored I guess

Either way it’s a lot of dough but get promoted who cares

4m incl add ons. could be as low as 1.5 originally offered plus a load of performance related bits on top - probably 500k for promotion, and another 2m if we go up to premier league and maybe some sell on clause and buy back option.

I very much doubt he has spunked anywhere near 4m up front.
