Abducted In Plain Sight

Anyone seen this new Netflix doc yet? I watched it last night and it is absolutely mental. I cant believe the parents could actually be that stupid unless they were somehow in on it and knew what was going on
Watched it on the weekend.

I thought it was superb, one of the best documentaries I have seen.

Her parents are f***ing idiots.

Very gullible parents. Mind the lass herself turned out a strong character considering the level of emotional abuse and physcological manipulation, especially when they confronted each other in the court! I'll be moving onto the Ted Bundy one tonight.

Just finished the 1st episode of that, be watching them all tonight

one of the most baffling things i've ever seen to the point where i googled it afterwards to check it actually was a true story

the parents man

The parents obviously made daft mistakes, but I think people need to remind themselves of the context here.

This happened in a small town in 70's Northwestern America. It's easy to criticise the parents looking at it all through the prism of today's world and how clued up we all are now re: paedos and how they target their victims etc.
