Summer Streets - Thompson’s Park

Is it being planned @RestlessNatives

Gutted I missed last years due to being on a stag do. Looking forward to taking our lass & the bairn this year.
Not sure, mate. I've not seen Ross for a bit and apart from my usual writing activities, I haven't done any 'culture' stuff for a while.
I think Sunderland Culture have been working hard on getting the Da Vinci stuff sorted but that seems to be all in place now so hopefully we'll see some movement. I'm assuming Ross will have been working on it all along, I just don't know anything at present.
I'll let you know if I hear anything.

Can you expand on that mate?

Being a reet selfish bastard I hope they keep the Seaburn location for it. Was great last year and I'm not sure I would enjoy Thompson park as much. But understand the reason for it being there.

Aye it was great seeing the Tall Ships off and wandering along to Seaburn for it.

It's a common view and I imagine it is something he will have to wrestle with. I can see both sides and I'm a Southwick lad. It's a bit of a no win situation. As I said on the threads last year, it will probably boil down to where they can get the funding from.
