Flat caps

I used to have a country gentry type flat cap back in my younger days.
They were also known as cheese cutters for the benefit of the uninitiated .
Most of those in Peaky are of the more baggy duckbill variety.

A man can look good in almost any hat, looking back through history its only recent times that your locks or head has seen daylight

I’ve seen tatty old workers type flat caps used for a thousand and one purposes other than keeping the heed warm, where handling something with a bare hand was not appropriate .

Peaky Blinders’ fault.

One of my mates was knocking about in one at Christmas and has gone right down in my estimation as a result.

Up there with people who grow massive beards.

Wearing them indoors is awful

I saw a pic on the net the other day of the woefully cringeworthy Steve Wraith wearing one the other day. Think that says it all.

Peaky Blinders’ fault.

One of my mates was knocking about in one at Christmas and has gone right down in my estimation as a result.

Up there with people who grow massive beards.

This fella knows the score.
