if you're failing to get nutrient dense foods from your caloric intake then it's a smart move. But it wont "aid weight loss"
It will by giving me some structure and consistency at lunch time so I can control my calories. Time pressured meals are when I make bad choices and eat the wrong things.

Looked into it previously, and consulted with a few people who had tried it.

No-one had anything good to say. Which is a shame because I like the concept.

A lad at work has been using it but I can’t be arsed to ask him for a review as he annoys the fu(k out me. He’s forever shaking stuff with those metal mixers inside the plastic bottle.

Did anyone ever get into this stuff?

As I've posted, I've been trying to slowly improve my overall diet - hoping that eating better will be the change in diet I need to eventually start to lose weight as a long term thing, rather than a short diet that I can't stick to forever.

But lunches are still a problem for me - so I've just bought a starter pack of this stuff - the unflavoured version that doesn't have artificial sweeteners in it (see my other posts!).

Any suggestions of what I can put in it to make it taste better? I don't mind adding calories to it if it makes it a better experience - its still going to be way better than a sandwich or a pasty ever day.

Just testing it now, 6 weeks after buying it.

One scoop with water - rank. Added an apple and a spoon of honey. Gritty still, but drinkable.
Now having a hot one - one scoop and a double espresso. Was horrid until I added a little honey. Its ok now.

I don't like the frothiness that it comes out from the blender. I guess leaving it in the fridge for a few hours will help with that and will make it less gritty.

@gatopreto - how did you get on?

6 hours later...

The farts.

Oh my god, the farts.

Is it really worth it man?

Suppose I'll find out.

If I stop trying, then I guess its death by obesity before I retire...
I was doing well with it for around 10 days. Was having 2 scoops on a morning 3 at lunch and having a normal meal on the evening. I had Plenty of energy, it suppressed my appetite quite well. Then suddenly I just couldn't look at the stuff any more never mind drink it. I hit a brick wall.

As for beer I'd never get sick of it

I don't have any plans to have more than 5 per week tbh.

What type of Apple?

What type of Apple?
No idea

Second time today. First time as a full portion rather than just testers. Had it at 12.30 and honestly didn't feel at all hungry till 4.30.

Chucked a fair bit of hot chocolate powder in and a spot of honey. Actually tasted OK.
Ordered some proper cocoa powder for next time.

Still a bit gritty though, despite using the blender, so I've already made tomorrow's. With a ton of frozen mixed berries. Looks like a smoothy!
Hopefully leaving overnight will soften some of the harder bits

Oh, and the horrific farts have landed. My god !
