Latest boxing crack

What's the latest with Usyk? Miller and Parker have allegedly turned down the fight.

Miller's set to fight a week on Friday, but I don't think he has an opponent yet. Bryant Jennings vs Oscar Rivas is another fight worth watching that night.

Brooke's taking the piss.
He's not going to fight anyone now who he considers a real threat, he's just after the one last big payday with Khan.
It looks like Khan isn't going to play ball though.

Read somewhere that Povetkin's likely to be next for Usyk. Whyte not even pretending he wanted anything to do with him on his latest IFL interview

That would be a really good fight. Pov is still very decent, far better than some that have held titles in the last 3 years.

I refuse to believe whyte is afraid or nervous of facing usyk

In fact I believe he would relish and embrace that....I’m not not a fan of his but he’s no bottler like.

I don't think he's afraid, rather it isn't a great move for him.

But then, it's becoming fairly apparent there's no intention of giving him the fight he actually deserves, so maybe he ought to take it anyway.

Well whichever way you spin it.

I refuse to believe whyte is avoiding anyone..particularity usyk

But how much longer does he have to put up with non-title fights before he puts his foot down with Hearn?

I know he's not the money name at the top of the HW division, but if Wilder and Fury fight again, AJ should take Whyte. It's not like he's completely removed from the conversation.

You're right though, I don't think he's 'avoiding' anybody.

Fuck knows mate.

Again don’t rate him that highly, Parker and chisora twice had him but fair play. He has some resilience and deserves a break with the top 3.
Who I bekieve all beat him.
I reckon Ortiz and maybe oovetkin beat him and aswell

But hes a game fucker

Really? I disagree like, I think he beats both, I agree all the top 3 beat him like. Still deserves his chance imo

I’d be pretty confident actually....particularly Ortiz...
Be excellent fights like.
I would be good fights to make, I’m still of the small minority of people that think it’ll be AJ/Whyte 2 April 13th at Wembley like. AJ beats Whyte then we will see Whyte take on likes a Ortiz & Povetkin - ie Hearn will try & rinse what he has left of Whyte!

Rumours are that it’s big baby in New York like. Hearn needing to get aj in the American market after fury v wilder (and probably 2)

Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s down to some dazn obligations.

Aye a know mate, I’m just trying not to believe it as I think it’s utter gash! Don’t rate Miller at all like, why he deserves a world title shot is beyond me! I actually think If u put Miller in with anyone durable say Dave Allen he wold get beat and Allen is British level fighter.

That's what I'm thinking too - get AJ some brand impact in America (in what is expected to be an easy fight), in case Wilder beats Fury, and then the money could come rolling in big time.

I do generally buy most AJ PPVs, but wouldn't for one starting around 3.30/4am and against Miller FFS. I know the UK market is small in comparison, but I wonder how many buys that would do over here?

Couldn’t agree more, think I’ve purchased every AJ PPV, but I would not be purchasing that or even staying up/getting up to watch it.
