If Wigan want to offload Grigg, Grigg has limited options. No championship club will buy him obviously as he has a poor record, few league one clubs are in a position to chuck around 7 figure sums. I’m not sure a player who is proven to not be able to cut it in the championship should be worth a million like some suggest.

Don't know for sure. Last I heard is that Ross wants another look at him. Was a fan before he got injured then was out of the picture

Think it’ll take a “big” signing for that. Donald & Charlie have a long term plan and in order to do that, as they’ve stated many time already, we need to become a self sustaining football club. In order to do that we can’t keep throwing money around like we did previously on shit like Rodwell. It’s going to be tough and we’ll sign players we’ve not heard of for a couple of years but they’ll be the right fit for the club and we’ll pay the very minimum. We wouldnt be bidding for him unless we knew he wanted to come and we knew he wouldn’t be asking for daft money.

Or hes desperate to come and we know it so will play hardball - if so its about time we did as a club
