sound like a hypocrite after saying no loans, but surely Grigg is gonna be no good in the championship?

Not sure about a permanent deal for Grigg tbh

Same, just saying it goes against everything I said about loans yesterday, but don't see the long term value in this

On paper, both seem like genuinely excellent signings, we are properly showing our size with them two. The likes of Luton, Barnsley and even Pompey will be looking at them and wondering how they can compete.

Pushing our weight around

Think for the first year up to the championship he’ll be a good second striker to have as we look to consolidate.

I am happy with Dunne but its hardly pushing our weight about, just a loan, who was at accrington last year

Grigg scored 7 from limited starts last time they were in the Championship and 5 from 10 this year. He has over a 1 in 2 record in his career and scored 25+ a couple of times in League One. As for Dunne, SPL level Hearts wanted to keep him reportedly. Also both Wigan and Hearts fans are gutted their respective players are leaving on social media. I'd say both are big signings tbh.

I think they are good signings for sure I wouldn’t say the Dunne one was us throwing our weight about though.

Grigg be good signing, have to do it if we can but we will need a lot of work next season. Guess cross that when we come to it

Not convinced he will come mind he cost Wigan over 1 mill n the owners have been fairly reluctant to go that high

Some people are going on like signing another striker in Summer when we're actually in the Championship is impossible

We're still in league one lads wake up

Just trying to avoid an overhaul of the team that’s all

Wigan could buy him back from us next season when we swap leagues with them. ;)

I think taking a starter of one of the bigger SPL teams is throwing our weight around tbh. I doubt any other team in this league could do it? In fact I don't think many teams in this league could attract a loan who's been starting games at all, nevermind a player who their fanbase is gutted to lose  Grigg will be a decent second striker next year.

I think we'll be spending the N'Dong and Papy compensation, and the owner also said we won a few court battles on the latest RR podcast. I don't think a million or so is out the question (no idea about wages).

Hope so, I thought we needed this player in the summer, we’ve been lucky Maja has been as good as he’s been the only fit striker at times

Defs left ourselves short there

Agreed. If we go up we need better
