Bottom of the Prem

Hope they stay up. A good few years just scraping survival will do more damage than them going down and (likely) bouncing straight back.

Was already like that before Benitez. Hence the optimism of the championship when we won relegation. After last season's 10th place then this season its very quickly going back towards what it was like with Pardiola and McClaren. Apathy, boredom, resignation. Nobody expects Benitez to stay, most I talk to are skeptical of the takeover. Dull A.F.

Yup. We treaded water for a good few barring the derby games and odd result it was depressing.

A bloke I work with is one of these who just love the club no matter what, never leaves early, always accentuates the positives, would never boycott a game or owt because he is so scared of missing something. Even he is now asking why he bothers. Says he now finds it a chore leaving the bar before the game, and can't wait for it to end.
People are bored with it all.
Said it many times before, but its just dull making up the numbers and not even trying to show any ambition other than surviving

Insane he got a job first time, then even funnier when he was on the phone to talk sport absolutely steaming announcing his role as director of football

Good poster you sir (for a mag) but you're correct. We suffered it, now you can! All the best.

Huddersfield are in serious trouble and have been since day 1. Cardiff starting to pick up points, as are Fulham. With all the quality players they brought in in pre-season and now with Ranieri, I'm positive they'll survive. Southampton looking sharper too. I don't have much belief in Burnley, despite their win over the Hammers.

So, if I'm to guess, I'd say Palace and Newcastle had better watch their back, some of teams below them are looking mighty fine.
