You signed Bradley and Pearson on free's in the summer where as we signed Ozturk and Loovens! Had it been the other way round we would be comfortably top of the league imo.
January will be a big test of our ambitions. If we hang on to our best players and sign at least one top half league one/ lower half championship cb we will take one of the automatic promotion places.
If however we try and make do or just sign 'cover' to boost squad numbers and not actually improve the quality of the 1st team we may well fall short and get pipped by someone with momentum such as yourselves or Charlton and i wouldn't fancy us in the play offs.

You'll love it up in the North East, friendly people and cheap to visit and stay. Lovely beaches, alas unlike Luton, we don't have an airport.
 
You can't win the league by Christmas, but you can lose it. Last year, it was well lost for us. We're both in a good spot, with what's shaping up to be a long race.

Impressed with Luton flying up the leagues, wouldn't mind seeing them get second to us.

Yes, Bradley and Pearson were good signings, not quite sure why they wanted out of Barnsley and Plymouth and not sure we could pay a lot more, we don't have wealthy backers and only a smallish capacity ground for revenue. Nathan Jones has the team well drilled and the midfield makes it hard to get at them.
Yes, Vauxhall are still in Luton and no, don't know Martin and Anne.
The banter here is tame compared to Luton Outlaws which is pretty unbearable. Anyway, if either of us trip up with games like tomorrow we have plenty of teams at our heels

Luton is by far the worst large town or city I have visited in UK. Bloody awful place.
