Black Sabbath or Led Zeppelin.

Following on from the stones/who and kinks/small faces threads, what do you reckon to these two then.
Sabbath for me.
Zep probably better musicians, but preferred Sabbaths heavier sound.

Bought Zeppelins first 4 albums and Sabbaths first 2 at the time.
Personally don’t think there’s any comparison I think Zeppelin were
much more more versatile in their output.
Liked those Sabbath albums mind.

Zep all day long, mind you Budgie was one of the best live band I have seen after zep

Black Sabbath for me - although I do like Zeppelin. The two are not really comparable though as they're very different.

Zeppelin had a broader range of songs so I'd rather listen to one of their albums although there's nowt wrong with Sabbath if you're in the mood for them.

Sabbath were utterly brilliant at riffs but zep were just better.
