Gammon-Watch: Jamesons , Sunderland - Thu 6th Dec

Raab won't have had a different plan other than "no deal" otherwise he would have came out and said it.

His negotiating strategy no doubt amounted to little more than waiting for the EU to offer us a great deal because he probably still believed they need us more than we need them.

Ffs , do you not know what the EU have offered previously? They've offered other deals that have been turned down.
I was using hyperbole, I am aware this is not the EU's actual opening deal.

That's a bit of a twisting of events. I expected the deal to be a compromise but atleast allow us to leave the single market. This deal only allows for that if the EU accept it. It's easier to leave the EU now then it will be in this new deal.

This is the equivalent of may taking the remain vote and saying we now should join the Euro. It's way way way out of the league of what we were expecting.
Wasn't on the ballot paper mate

So what was said by TM then? Was there a question and answer part - anyone mention Nissan etc?

Was fairly underwhelmed by his Question Time performance and championing of Boris Johnson.

I'm sure it was very insightful. No doubt whipped up the local soaks and the anyone but labour (but preferably someone nice and right wing) crowd.
