How much do you spend on hobbies?

Not loads. 26 quid a month on gym membership which is subsidised by work. Spend loads on bait I guess. I wear cheap shite clothes when I’m there so not much on that either.

I play guitars and that but I’ve had them since I was a kid. New set of strings every now and then.

Spend a fair bit on surfing in the summer like.

Great angler. I know him from the fishing scene. I fished in the ferry hill club, but a different type of fishing to you lads like. but quite enjoyed it. Got a bit too tying in the end.
I’m back on the sea fishing now with my 15 year old son, he’s loving it so il stick at it abit.

Surfer? Would never have thought that like.
 
Spent a load on cycling but that is usually a new bike every 4 or 5 years, topped up with clothing as and when it needs replacing.

Gym membership which is £35 a month

Still got loads of camping/hiking gear which is a good few grands worth but hardly get to use now, had things like my one person backpacking tent for over ten years now

The biggest single item being £3k fishing pole.
Rods for £500
Reels £200 ish
I may even have a count up later of stuff I have (they have their own house)

So may rainy day question is what’s your hobby and how much does it cost. I think a lot of people will get a shock when they start adding it up.

Yeah that's what he was doing, then most the group moved up to the Brazilian Soccer School when they got to school age. Same price but he stopped wearing his Socatots kit that he'd not long had and wanted a BSS one. I told him he could pay for it himself and he went off the idea.
