What's the most you'd pay for an item of clothing. ?

Got 4 coats that cost a totally of £1300, most expensive being a boss leather coat - they are all nice

That aside usually
£250 shoes/ boots
£90 on jeans, always stick to Levi’s
£130 shirts
Same on jumpers/ tops

huh? I saw a jacket I liked so bought it.

Fuck me sideways. That's a farcical amount of money to spend on a jacket.
I mean if you're that minted, fair enough, but it's still too much money for one item of clothing.
It probably cost a minor fraction of that amount to make it

£1300 coat means the store he bought it from bought it off the brand for £480.

The brand, who will own their own factory would have produced it for less than £100.

Each to their own if they wish to pay such high amounts.

True enough. But wowzers... I couldn't justify it myself.

I paid £425 for Boss leather jacket couple years back, only worn it few times. I'm owa fat for the f****r now though.

The quality of Stone Island has always been a bit crap in my opinion, even though they’ve made some great gear and I was practically obsessed by the stuff when I was younger. I bought a reflective down jacket in the early 90s for summit like £650 and in no time the reflective stuff had worn away where the thing creased. Wish I kept it though, the things go for daft money on eBay even in that state now.

are watches 'items of clothing'?

5,4,3,2,1.....
Oooh you’ve done it now!

Problies the most is a couple of grand ($) each on some bespoke suits. Not really worth it as I’m an easy fit off the rack so better for me to get decent OTR and just spend a bit extra to get stuff tweaked to fit.

I’ve spent some silly money on some ties etc.

I think most expensive footwear is Crocket and Jones and Carmina, about $400 each

The quality of Stone Island and the fabrics they invented have always been very good imo. Granted I’ve never wore it in donkeys but it was always fine.
How often did you were the coat ? A lot of it may be down to continuous wear in sweaty bars, clubs and football terraces ?? ;)
