Anyone say a prayer

Well another stable night, they are still to decide when they are going to try and close the massive gaping chest wound up as doing that puts him back to square one where we were at midnight Friday.

Going up to see him again soon while we wait to see what the plan is.

Thank you all again for your thoughts and prayers, it means a lot to me and my family to know others are thinking of my dad and us.

He won't thank me for this thread when he wakes up and reads it as he doesn't like making a fuss, but I'm sure he will reply when he is well enough (will only be his 3rd post in 5 years)

Just back from the hospital where me dad and lifelong safc fan has had major open heart surgery.

Everything that could have gone wrong has gone wrong and the surgeon and his team have performed miracles to keep him alive.

If anyone some spare prayers or favours owing from those above can they send them me dad's way tonight please

Just had notice he is going back down in 20 minutes or so to try and close his chest up.

Best of luck mate. The last time I prayed was when my Dad had a stroke 25 years ago. It worked and he came through to make a full recovery. He's 84 now. I'll gladly knock another one out for your old man mate.
