My current PC monitor I bought second hand from Ebay maybe 5 years ago. Still works and is a great monitor. Got it for about a third of the brand new price and it was a year old.

Because a lot of the buisness sellers raise the prices before to cover the shortfall. A bit like stores do in sales.
