England in Sri Lanka Red Ball

Jennings seems to be a good short leg

Yes, some cracking fielding from him this tour. A world away from being sloppy in the slips in the summer.

Hopefully this shows that he needs the gloves taken off him and told to bat. All this nonsense about how he prefers having the gloves ffs!
We are struggling for players in top order and he needs to be in that top order and can’t do it consistently whilst keeping wicket.

Agree.

possibly

I am still not 100% sure he won't end up keeping wicket again

the media have been getting carried away with Foakes, like he is keeping on a different level or someit, which just isn't true

He has started class but will need to keep batting and scoring runs in England, which isn't easy, I think we take Bairstow's average at 7 for granted a bit

Fantastic wicket-keeping. Wonder what the ginger lad in the deep made of it...

Stokes has bowled well. Not easy to be hostile on these pitches.

He'd have caught it himself, as he is a world class gloveman

its bizarre that that this board seems to want to slag off the one person who scored a 100 in the game

could be tight this, still think england were 75-100 short

This is a masterclass from Jennings.

The best Rashid has bowled? seems to have complete control over his leg spin.

Super catch

205-5

Certainly best this year since he came back to red ball cricket.

I only really put it in there to see if you'd bite...

Don't think he would have caught it mind. Foakes is quite a bit taller and needed every inch.
