Roseberry Topping

There’s a paid car park but I parked on church lane opposite the kings head inn, it’s a little residential street with plenty of parking and free obviously, about 2 minutes walk to the proper car park

Park directly underneath it and it gets quite steep , might be better off parking in Guisborough and taking the longer but easy route.

Last time we did it , parked underneath it , then up to the top , over to Cooks monument effort then back through Great Ayton , canny day out.

Last weekend we parked (free) at Hutton Village and walked through the woods to Roseberry topping.
Took about half an hour - quite a pleasant walk, and a change from parking on the 'other side' of it.

All done. Parked at Newton Under Roseberry. Up to Roseberry Topping, then along to Captain Cook's Monument, down some steep bank which brought me out near Great Ayton train station, then into Great Ayton, then walk along the road back for a soft drink at the pub then back to the car. 7.64 miles.

Sounds like you did the same as us , except we had drinks in Great Ayton before walking back to the car.
