Course I did. Just like you enjoy winning in Third division. But you would prefer not to be in Third division.
Of course I’d prefer not to be in League 1. But I also prefer to be regularly winning in the league we are winning in, than scratting around for wins and points in the premier league. Would I prefer to be successful in the PL, of course I would, but for those outside the top 4/6 simply making up the numbers, give me wins and a bit of hope of a win in a lower league and positivity anyday.

So if you prefer to lose in the Premier League why are your fans protesting so much?

Seems to me like your lot don’t have a clue what they’re on about.
Have made it clear these are my views. Would be surprised if you spoke for every Sunderland fan and if you feel you do it’s not obvious on here

So this is where we differ. I prefer watching Newcastle in Premier than the championship. 90 to 100 points down below doesn’t do it for me as much as 40 points higher up does

I think you're made thinking like that.
What's your best 3 seasons based on the list I gave you earlier?

You truly prefer scratting around for points in the PL than enjoying wins in leagues lower down. Because which ever team we support neither, in the current climate will better things. So I’ll take wins.

I have to agree
The premier league is the place to be however it’s a funny owld game
We are in the process of rebuilding & have positivity running through the club , there’s a great understanding & bond formed from the top to the bottom within the club - that will stand us well going forwards
If we don’t go up this season , we will next it’s only a matter of time
We are on the up
Newacastle as a club are all over the place
Don’t think for one moment a couple of wins at home will paper over the cracks
Oh & 6 in a row

Guessing you're a youngin? Can't imagine there's many mags or mackems over 30 still holding that opinion.

There’s not a single Sunderland fan on here honestly prefers watching the club in Third division than Premier. Step forward anyone who will be happy if Sunderland are still Third division next season.Janey won’t admit it. Nor will Mr Chuckles.

Not bothered who opinions coincide or don’t with mine. Just saying what mine are

No contest for me

Exactly. I've seen Newcastle finish everywhere but first, cup competitions as included.
Finishing 10th is probably an acheivment of sorts, but not in any way memorable.
Winning the 2nd tier as champions is mint. Could imagine it getting tedious finishing 7th a few year in a row. Leeds fans must be sick. But overall a promotion season trumps a mid table premier league season

Completely missed the point. Well played Sir!

Where did I say that, I said of course I’d prefer to be in the Premier League, but having watched us lose week after week I’d take League 1 and winning, over weekend after miserable weekend losing in the PL.
Please don’t twist my words.

Nothing wrong with what you say though it’s easier to say from where you are. Newcastle can’t move forward at moment & like Sunderland for most of Premier seasons staying up was enough & were celebrated. No proof yet that going down to Third division is the way to solve matters.
