I know they have a fight to sell but the way Sky are trying to hype Bellew as some sort of cross between Julian Jackson and Arturo Gatti is just f***ing weird.
When was the last time bellew fought someone in the top ten? Yet he fighting for a world title. And I'll guarantee usyk will be getting a shot at Joshua next spring....

More to do with fast Eddie than rankings..

How good is Bellew, was Haye finished when he beat him twice ?

Was definitely a world-class cruiserweight a couple of years back to be fair, Makabu and Masternak are 2 very good wins but pretty difficult to gage how much he has left at this point. Looked much better in the rematch with Haye than in the first fight but was obvious that Haye was completely shot to bits

I’d be amazed if Bellew manages to win this one. Usyks too good imo but I hope I’m proven wrong of course.

Hearn will no doubt be looking to move Usyk up a weight to fight Joshua next if he wins this I reckon.

Usyk could give Joshua problems tbh, but it would depend what he cuts down to cruiser from already tbh.

He had 2 legs for a few rounds in the first fight, and all the 2nd fight tbf

He didn't mind. I rate Bellew for how he still managed to get the wins, but Haye was dealing with a long term injury that wasn't fixed. Was story's coming out about trips to surgeons and not even sparring.

Again credit to Bellew like cos I still thought he'd get starched.

On the Thursday before the first fight Haye travelled to Germany to see a specialist, the fight was nearly called off

His achilles basically didn't heal properly, which is why he could barely move.
And his shoulder never healed properly, meaning his

Hmm, I'm sure I typed: "handspeed was gone" at the end of that post ???

I'll be rooting for Usyk, can't stand Bellew with his over dramatic double standards - ideal result for me would be Bellew quitting

Assuming Usyk wins and goes up to HW, what level of opponent would you expect him to fight before Joshua? (surely he won't fight him next)

Is Usyk a big cruiser like Haye was?

If he steps up I'm guessing he'll still only be 22olbs or so at heavy.

Didnt stop Evander mind.

Probably fight the loser of Whyte vs Chisora

I meant for the rematch mate. Was a few rumours that the injury hadn't recovered and wasn't sparring as a result.

He's a big lad, but I suppose it depends how much he is cutting to make that weight. He's been at that weight for a good while now like. He fought at heavyweight for years in the amateurs which is essentially cruiser.

I'd imagine AJ would come in light for Usyk too

Agree

I am not sure about this Power of Bellew either. Before the Haye KO'S who was injured it was sub 50% wasnt it?
