A Chisora that a fair few fighters schooled at the time aye

Not really. First time he was undefeated, but that was an awful fight IMO. Second time was after about a half dozen wins mostly by knockout. When Haye sparked him he'd been robbed against Helenius iirc and then a tough fight with Vitali. He wasn't getting schooled by 'a fair few' people at the time of either Fury fight.

Aye..he was well robbed against Helenius for the European title, plus put up a really good account of himself in Klitschko back yard..

Aye, he gave Vitali a very good fight, although he was injured iirc. But regardless, nobody around that time was schooling Chisora tbh. Not until Haye sparked him

Ridiculous it's not been picked up by channel 5, fuck knows what Boxnation do these days too, surely nobody pays for it anymore.

Oh well, that's that. Martin was well out of his depth

Was really disappointed in Martin. Looked a pretty decent prospect a couple of years back but any confidence he may have had last night seemed to evaporate within the first 2 rounds and considering that the stoppage was way too early he didn't look too disappointed to have been stopped.

Thought Taylor was tremendous again though. There probably aren't many better body punchers than him at the minute

I watched it when I got in but was pissed so barely remember it...:):)

Out last night so ended up watching it at about half 8 this morning with a massive hangover :neutral:
My missus found it on YouTube in the iPad as was f***ing about in my phone...so watched it live around 11...missed nonaire fight . From what I remember Taylor was peppering him but seem to lack power....but like I say I was pissed :?:

Did anyone watch that bare knuckle fighting thing the other week ?

Just got it in now, quite interesting

Although new drinking game: Drink every time they say "squared circle".

The ring is f***ing round

Canny watch..fury opening up on his mental illness

“It was like having a fight in my own mind,” Fury said. “[Mental illness] is a silent killer. It is almost like carbon monoxide poisoning because you can’t see it. My calling card is to spread the word on mental health.’

VIDEO: Tyson Fury opens up ahead of his fight against Deontay Wilder

Just listened to that interview in full. Can relate to quite a lot of that myself but listening to him there makes you appreciate his performance* against Klitschko even more. To be in such a dreadful state of mind, and looking back it was blindingly obvious at the time as well, and still school the man who had been the best heavyweight in the world for nearly a decade in what was pretty much his own back yard is astonishing.

*Awful fight to watch aye but he completely befuddled Wlad with his tactics and had him beat mentally even before the opening bell IMO
