Paraplegic man drags himself through airport

Getting a friend to film him doing it, fairly embarrassing on his part in my opinion.
That may be but the outcome will probably be the same. Next time he flies from Luton I'd wager they'll have self propelled wheelchairs

Howver he acted afterwards doesnt excuse how badly he was treated by the airline

Does losing a wheelchair actually count as being treated badly? What if it was a child’s buggy? Or a travel cot? Or was it just one of those things tha5 happen, the airline does its best to sort out a substitute and the customer goes on their way?

Unless of course, they are an entitled self centred twat.

Fair play to the lad, life has dealt him a bad hand but he's made the best of it and achieved great things.

He's stuck by his principles and should be applauded for that. If an airport of that size can't provide a decent wheelchair in this day and age then they shouldn't be in business.

Define decent wheelchair.

I imagine he will have embarrassed Luton airport into buying some self propelled wheelchairs now. Job done

And the other users of the airport will have to pay the cost, plus the damages this git will demand, but of course, it isn’t about the money.

Of course he has been treat badly. If an airline had lost a buggy or cot then the owner of those have been treat badly as well. It doesn't have to be either or. What a bizzare post.

No he hasn't, he was offered a solution but it wasn't enough for him.

"If something does happen, no-one should be put in the position that they are forced to crawl through the airport or drag themselves along the floor.

"And there should be some form of equipment to move themselves independently. Someone whose chair is their legs shouldn't be forced to be reliant on others for help."

The airline lost his orginal wheelchair, the airport offered something that would make him less independent. Regardless of how you think he has behaved how you can think he wasnt treat badly by at least the airline baffles me

What an absolute dickhead
What's your opinion on the airline or the airport?

I never even mentioned the airline, anyway it's treated.
Okay, I'm assuming the airline made the fuck up with the original chair, maybe they didn't, maybe it was the airport. Do you think the airport/airline treated him poorly by losing his original chair?

No.

If an airport had lost my daughter's buggy, yeah I'd have been pissed. I wouldn't have dragged her along the floor to seek attention and make a point.
That's fine, my point was some posters on this thread were suggesting that the original loss of wheelchair wasn't him being treated poorly by the airport/airline
