Mags at our matches - A season in pictures

Why show their photos at all? It is only giving them the attention they obviously crave.

The photo I'm most looking forward to is one of them being carried into the back of an ambulance ....

.... only a matter of time.
They will inevitably try and play the victim card. If it was an isolated incident they might have a tiny smidgen of a case. The fact is in any walk of life if someone is continually goading you, you can only warn them so many times.

It's behaviour liable to cause a breach of the peace but the stewards and polis ignore it ...
... they'll be partly to blame when it kicks off.

A late disputed penalty to lose us a game and a grinning Mag, outside the ground, will only have one outcome.

It shows their mentality though that they don't even realise it. No doubt they'll claim it was just a bit "famous Geordie humour". I can imagine when we go play Port Vale there will be another. There was a lot of folk moved from the North East in the 70s to that area and the place has it's share of Dingles to start with.

True lucky we have been winning for them as they will just get laughed at as usual.

If we lost and they were mouthing off then got battered it's their own fault.

Don't condone someone getting the ship kicked out of them but in this case you play with fire you'll get burned

Nobby of Norwich was the original and the best King of the Gravy-Stained Obsessives.

All others are but pale imitations.

Except that one on the Roker Report Twitter feed that looks like Vincent Van Gogh, who is both pale and ginger.

I’ve got a Mag mate who’s told me it’s sctually Sunderland Supporters taking Mag strips to the ground to give to random strangers who then put on the shirts so they can have their photo took. It’s awfully nice of them to get involved in something completely unrelated to their team all to try to take the piss out of thousands of people who they don’t really care about & get a potential slap. All part of an effort by us to show that they’re obsessed with us apparently.

Thing is this will be set in stone as truth and not just a myth if we don't get this nipped in the bud. (And I'm not referring to the poor horse that got punched there)

We should start putting on a little welcome party for them, maybe sing a song for/at them. A free sausage roll for their effort.

Thats different to the one on radio ncle who said its away fans pretending to be mags( gave Coventry as an example)

Probably even more then. I'm certainly considering changing allegiance.

It's like the good old days when fans of both teams went to Roker one week and St James the other. Sort of - you lot have taken it to the next level and are going to our away games as well. Fantastic fans.

Yep, loads of Cov fans will have spare mag tops lying around.
