Doctor Who

First episode I've watched since it came back thought it was canny but enjoyed my 8 year old daughters reaction to some of the "scary" bits the most...she wants to watch it next week but who was the best of the previous new doctors so we can find some old episodes to watch??

Sylvestor McCoy

He made the same point twice.

Do you want it again?

All I needed to hear... some random potential date prospect said he didn't like it and I was wondering if that was because of his inability to accept a female Doctor.

Thank you Janie, your response confirms my fears
The whiney manbabies have been put in their place

Been going up its own arse for a long time. I am not usually one to gripe about political correctness but the show feels like a sermon on diversity. I will watch it if the kids do but won't go out me way this series.

Christopher Eccleston would be the best place to start as it explains as it goes for the benefit of those too young to see the first time round. She will probably love Rose, and if she doesn’t, you will, especially in the police uniform!

Walsh was excellent, as predicted. TARDIS team has potential. Doctor a bit zany for my liking, even Tennant and Smith had that edge they could switch on, but it's the first show and it nearly always takes a while to settle. I like that she doesn't know everything. I suppose I just prefer old grumpy Doctors.

Everything put out by the BBC is a sermon on diversity. You should try watching Doctors, it’s almost lost the plot, it’s so keen to lecture us on how we should think that it forgets the reason for its existence is to entertain.

No, don’t bother. I didn’t care then and I still don’t. But it’s a bit unlike you to defend another poster, are you seeking to fill becs role?
