Heard rubbish like this many times before. Notably before the West Ham in 2015.
Then within weeks they let Taylor and Gutierrez go over the phone.
If he means what he says and sticks to it, then that's positive, however I am 99% suspicious

Come on, man.

Come on, man.

I know.
But after that West Ham interview, then there was the summer spending and January spending, Carr's picks but McClaren in charge. Probably felt he had his fingers burnt a bit.
While I'm expecting absolutely nothing to change, if it's a slight shift and adhered to like in 2015 but with a better manager that might be positive.
Expect nowt different like. 11 years of this has shown he says one thing and does the other and has no long term goal

Easily £400m IMO.

So if you take off the £140m owes, which he wants back, the valuation isn’t far off what he wants.

Not even close. Just because he’s owed £140 million in loans (plus the £90 million he paid) it doesn’t mean the club is worth that much otherwise we’d have been valued at £150 million. Newcastle is simply not worth more than 4x what he paid for it.

Strange affair all this, Ashley says he has no ambition for the club, doesn't want to spend big and wants to sell the club.

The Mags believe he really doesn't want to sell and should give Benitez money.

He obviously doesn't have any ambition and the Mags believe him 100%.

But they believe he's lying through his teeth about wanting to sell the club, giving the 'free advertising' excuse.

But in reality, apart from a couple of half arsed chancers trying to use other people's money, there doesn't appear to be a single credible buyer.

Are they the kind of buyers who'd really spend more money than Ashley and get Newcastle competing as the supporters want?

It appears the Mags just want a mega-rich buyer to come in and spend millions on top of millions, just as they did when Ashley bought the club.

Jim Branning's latest meltdoon.

Michael Martin Retweeted The Chronicle
