Next financial crisis 'has begun and will be worse than 2008 crash

It's nonsense. I work in an investment bank and the bank has so much capital its ridiculous. Inflammatory article written by someone close to a certain grey haired moron.

Do you work for a UK one? And is there is difference to the US ones? As the article is pretty much about the situation over the pond.

US debt is an issue but the UK is also leveraged up to its eyeballs.

It's irrelevant anyway, as with 2008, if the US economy falls over so does the Global one.

A financial crash would have happened Brexit or not.

Brexit just weakens our hand in coping with it.

Yep, the world thrives and we fail after leaving then you can look towards leaving the EU. The whole world is not being adversely affected by us looking at leaving. A global crisis is just that, based on global events.

Anyone could have predicted this after the knackers voted for Brexit.
And what exactly does Brexit have to do with a global financial crisis and if you and other, know it alls, knew this was going to happen then why didnt you accommodate the UK when Cameron went cap in hand to the EU?

death throes of the existing system imo mate, this is capitalisms endgame. why do you think they've been pulling up the drawbridges, sawing through ladders and scuttling lifeboats globally ffs
My thoughts exactly. When an economic system has to have growth all the time and when we are told that part of that system relies on the mass importation of millions and millions of people then that system is indeed seeing an end game. When the stock market moves on whether "someone of importance has farted" or not then you do wonder about that system etc.

A lot of things seem to be converging ATM and it is clear that the western world, in particular, may be about to go through a dramatic change. Hopefully what comes out the other end will be better than what we have now.

A financial crash would have happened Brexit or not.

Brexit just weakens our hand in coping with it.
How's that?
