Things you regret not doing?

Visiting Salisbury and missing the cathedral
Shouldn't have been rushing...

I'm not mentally strong enough to commit to studying Nooks, I'm exhausted as it is (hopefully once my weight / physical health improves I'll have more energy and may look to doing something then) xx
Why not dip your toe in with a distance learning course that you can organise around your schedule LOPPY?

Not takiing a job in San Francisco (went to Sydney instead, idiot me).
Not buying a flaat in Wimbledon for 60k years ago (was talked out of it by people going on about negative quity blah blah)
One or two girls.

I turned down the chance to ride an absolute filth. It was coming close to NYE, which meant that I was raw from the sauce. I was staying away from it & feeling sorry for myself. Got a phone call from this bird who an old friend of mine actually ran from her bedroom one morning because she wanted more & more & more. She said she was home alone and asked me did I want to call up. I declined. To this day, I don't know why I did that. It's one of my biggest regrets in life & I was mocked about it only recently.

However, I ended up shagging her best friend in her (the first one's) bed a year or two later, so it's not all bad.

Man, San Francisco is the worst....you should have no regrets on that one. Been having to stay there for months on end for years with work and detest the place. It's horrendous, never seen such a disparity between the rich and poor in one area anywhere else on earth. Sydney must have been amazing, would love to go.

Not sticking in at higher education to better myself / enable myself to get a profession (resulting in endless low paid menial office jobs over the last 25 years).
In my experience even reasonably well paid office jobs are menial.

I regret not at least trying to follow my dreams career wise.

Now in my 40s am trying to start playing catch up. Fool.

Man, San Francisco is the best....you should have so many regrets on that one. Been having to stay there for months on end for years with work and I loved the place. It's wonderful, never seen such a great community and love between the rich and poor in one area anywhere else on earth. Sydney must have been shit would never want to go.

That poster Jim's mother. Seems like everyone on here has had a turn.

(says words slowly to self "everyone on here has had a turn" and considers the posters on here....)

Nope, never mind. No regrets at all.

It was an odd but interesting time in my life. House share with 2 people who worked in a record studio. At least a dozen times had to answer phone with Chris Rea on other end to just say either "I'll get him",or "sorry, Simon isn't in"

Working in academic science, I've met or answered the phone to a few Nobel Prize winners in similar circumstances. James Watson, of DNA fame, was introduced to me and a couple of office mates as Jim by their boss (not mine) who's a science hotshot and a family friend of James Watson, of DNA fame.

I should point out that the Jim you're referring to is not the same Jim that I'm referring to.
