Parking Warning

I was out running at the Silksworth Sports Complex on Wednesday evening, where it was busy... Lots of people running, walking, playing footy, on the skate park, using the ski slope etc. Was lovely to see.

Anyway, as I was finishing my run the traffic wardens were out in force ticketing any car that wasn’t parked in a space. The car parks were pretty rammed so there were very few, if any spaces to park legitimately. They must have got at least 10 the time I was there.

Anyway, be careful next time you’re there to make sure you park in a prescribed bay.
I think the call-centres at Doxford use it as a park & ride

This does my nut in.
I've normally got a car full so need access to 3 or even 4 doors.

Well done the traffic warden.
Not really ...

It's a completely dick move from the traffic warden.

What if that was the only place he could leave the car when he first got to the spot due to the cars either side of him at the time

They were getting loads of people the other week who were doing park run. Now what's the point having an event that attracts hundreds of people if there isn't anywhere to park? Especially when it's at 9 am on a Saturday morning

I don't think users of the facilities should be punished with inadequate parking spaces like, it's shite. Must only be around 50 spaces at the Puma centre.

Up at the Ski Slope about 100 if you count the ones up the bank next to Pit Row, if all of the 7 a side pitches are full then that's not many spaces either

I hate the one who drives about with the camera on his car, aswell as the rest of them. Fuk off sunderland council
Have to pay for that pointless bridge somehow i suppose

Then he can argue about that later.

The traffic warden only gets a small window of opportunity. Well done on their hawk like abilities.

Was bad up Silky way on Saturday morning. Some clampet had parked on the little access road to the overflow car park off Silksworth Lane, so only one lane of cars could pass.

Then more clampets were stopped on Silksworth Lane waiting to turn right into the car park, only they couldn't because a never ending stream of cars were coming out that way. That had the traffic backed up along Silksworth Lane up for a good 3 or 4 minutes until the cars at the front gave up and went round the proper entrance.

All because of one lazy fucker parking somewhere stupid.

There is plenty parking there on a Saturday if you use the over flow, there are also plenty of lazy shit heads who just do what they want, however. These will be the same entitled shit heads who will kick off on Facebook about it.

And yet @Bishop Mackem thinks anyone who is a traffic warden is a prick.

Rather than driving to a 5k run they should just do a 5k run around their house.

I’ve started doing these but run to the start line.
