Scandi noir/drama recommendations/discussion

Bless. There's a thread already started on it which will resurface on Friday. Some of us have been counting down the days. It's very very good.
Its brilliant, I didn't know S04 was out until I read this thread yesterday, downloaded the full series last night am just waiting a day or two until I have time to binge it.

There aren't too many other options (mineshafts, caves etc.?). They could go opposite to the title and have hostages at the top of a tall building, maybe?
i suppose the bridge was able to stretch out the premise of the original series over four, so there is hope that the writers can make a hostage thriller work again.

I hope it's not a submarine, given recent events. Be a bit squashed.

would be more like a documentary, that plot line...

Yeah, they kept the two countries connection but didn't have each case begining with a body found on a/the bridge...

The strictly thread & show, had me thinking it’s back into the autumn tv swing of things - wonder does anyone know if bbc4 have anything danish lined up for the 9 - 11 slot in the coming months?

Current program (the plague) ends next week so something new will start the week after. No idea what it will be but most of the stuff they show is good.

More redneck noir than scandi but the American series Sharp Objects on Sky is worth trying.

Good but not brilliant - the constant flash backs were confusing, well for me anyway.

Somehow the whole thing is less than the sum of its parts, but it does have its moments and Amy Adams in the complex and challenging lead role is excellent.
