You say you know you can't compete with the City's and Chelsea's etc, etc...so who do you think you should be competing with?
Wish I had the time to properly explain to you how the concept of fans voting with their feet works, but here’s a quick idea of it.
I realise that not everyone is the same, but when you’re being served sh!t, there are 2 ways to object.
We refused to put up with it and withdrew our support, owner realised he wasn’t cut out for the job and sold up at reasonable price to ensure that the right people took over to push the club forward. Parted on reasonable terms and he even wiped out the clubs debts as a parting gesture.
You lot go around shouting at shops and pretend to buy goods on line before going to watch the sh!t being served up and hand over your cash to the owner. Owner receives nothing but abuse and threats from the fans, which gets his back up so he digs his heels in further and ups his asking price.
In a few years time, we’ll probably be in the same division, we’ll be debt free and able to push on, whilst you lot will, well I hate to think what you lot will have progressed onto after the shop shouting fails.
Sometimes you need to lose a battle to win the war, we did by staying away. We’re going back now and it’s great.
