She`s done some fantastic photos. I have the book. My daughter did a documentary through the documentary academy at the Tyneside Cinema last Autumn where they tracked down a few of the people from the photos and interviewed them at the places where the pictures were originally taken to talk about how there lives had turned out. The documentary won the Best Short Documentary at the National Into Film Awards in London and also won a best documentary in the Royal Television Society Awards. I was exceptionally proud of her. Not bad for something that just started out as a bit of fun and something to put on a CV !!!

Cheers. Not bad for someone who just fancied giving it a go over the summer/autumn term last year for something to put on her CV. They never thought it`d win awards. Apparently it`s been nominated in a European Film Awards or something but we`re waiting to get confirmation of that. It`s a shame it`s only 6 mins long though as they had loads of good footage to use and wanted to head in a more political slant too but time was not on their side. Maybe leaving it as a shorter piece on the personal stories of the 3 people made more of an impact.
