Expecting it and being able to actually do anything about it when it arrives are two completely different things.

Give the lad some credit - he's dug in and got England to a position where they at least have a chance of winning this game.
Not criticising him mate, just frustrated they can't actually post a big total for the first time in ages.

Thoroughly enjoyed my day down at the Ageas Bowl yesterday. A great days cricket, and we let them off the hook late in the day. Those extra 70+ runs for the last two wickets would have given us an unbeatable lead by now. The team is doing very well now and Curran has done well again. Thinking of going down tomorrow and buying on the gate.

Every f***ing time, lose a wicket just before a break in play.

Why wasn't Jennings stringing out the last over before lunch? They started the one that got him out at 12:59! Should have been readjusting himsel on balls 4,5 & 6 to get past 1pm.

Yeah we’ve got a lot worse, we made the odd big score

I feel sorry for Bairstow been messed around

I'm going to disagree so please don't be nasty back ;) I don't feel sorry for him. It would be great if he could bat at 7 but there is an absolute shortage of good enough batsmen to select in the top 6. Bairstow is supposed to be one of the very best players in the country and needs to put his hand up and improve.

Credit where it's due Buttler has batted well. Edging us up to something competitive here

He's been our best batsman all summer by a distance. Scoring more runs than anyone else and averaging over 40 on challenging pitches. One century, 4 x 50s is an excellent effort from a class middle order batsman.
