I love how if you laugh at them shouting at shops their retort is “well at least we are doing something. Yous lot did nothing and ended up in League 1”

That’s what’s making this worse for them, I saw a few lumping us in with them saying how bad ne football is etc. Nah thanks we are loving life at the moment, league be damned.
 
You have to hand it to Sir John Hall for his marketing skills.

He took a moderate, run down provincial football club, gave them a rebranding and a few slogans ("The Entertainers", "Barcelona of the North", "Geordie Nation"), and a generation later, despite evidence to the contrary, they still believe the hype, and still feel entitled.

Edward Bernays would be proud of him.

The poor Scouse scallies have to wait till Saturday 4th May (Scum v Liverpool) to organise a candlelit vigil outside their favourite scratter outfitters' shop. By then it could be too late to save SportsDirect.

Aye but some of us like it when mags repeatedly say they are a big club that should be playing champions league football with a world class manager and then get beaten by notts forest.

The Hall's and his mates made millions out of them in the process, Slagged them off and they still believe everything they said.
