I’m there next weekend. Been before a couple of times with the family but this time I’m with the lads. Recommendations for bars and places to eat would be most appreciated. Cheers.
 


I went last month with the lads. What a mad place. Posh and respectable during the day then after hours it gets flipped upside down. Prostitues on every doorway, ya see all kinds over there.

If your looking for a good club to end up in id recommend Fabrik it’s about 20 mins out of the city centre. Probably the best night club I’ve ever been in.
 
Good idea to pick an area and wander around.
Last time I was near Las Ventas (the bull ring), relatively upmarket area.
Near there, was calle de DonRamon de la cruz. Quite a few bars on the street, interestingly a lot of them specialised in different areas of Spain, so the food was different. Best way to do tapas is one thing in each bar.
For example, El Rincon de Jaen did massive portions of seafood.

Last time I was there the nearest bar to our hotel you got about five plates of food that were piled high every time you ordered a drink, more than yer usual gratis tapas malarkey. Place was rammed.
