Nuisance Tree

We have reserved a new house and there is a git massive tree in a neighbouring garden at the rear that belongs to an older housing estate.

anyway we have reserved an end terrace that's attached to the middle house and another end terrace anyway this tree have one massive branch that grows over the middle garden with branches and leaves that overshadow all three gardens.....in fact one of the branches is hitting off the other end houses roof..

these are 3 story hooses btw.

we have told barrats our concerns they are also aware of the issue as other prospective buyers have mentioned this f***ing tree.

It is now with their legal team, we know there is no preservation order on the tree as we have checked..

whats the chances of barrats getting the nuisance branch chopped off the tree?

I know this might sound madness in this day and age, but how about giving them a knock and politely explaining your concerns? They might just be reasonable people.

my mrs did this..they were not in..we have since found out from barrats that she has been abit of a nightmare..and is basically abit pissed off that she probably had a lovely woodland view before barratts brought the land and decided to build a new housing estate behind her house.

the tree is HUGE and it would literally take out 3 houses if it were to blow over

You'll just have to burn it down then I'm afraid.

Property sounds tiny....eurgh

Barratts won't give a shite, once you've signed the paperwork and they have your cash.

Just cut down any branches that are in your boundary and hoy them ower the old dears fence.
