"Theresa May, I know we have all sorts of issues on the table already, Russia, Brexit, all that sort of stuff but there's another issue I think we need to debate in parliament"

"What's that then? It had better be important"

"Oh it is, you see, I don't think Mike Ashley is giving Rafa enough of a transfer budget"

"You absolute f***ing whopper, get the fuck out"

"Eee ya just divvnt understand"
:lol::lol::lol:

Isn’t parliament closed for the holidays. By the time it opens again the transfer window will be closed for business
I heard they're reopening the transfer window specially for this, Janey:lol:

I do find it stramge the amount of Sunderland fans that defend Ashley, I know the majority are on a wind up but some genuinely do think he is running the club well, everyone in the whole of football knows Ashley is a twat, even people who know nothing about football know what a twat he is, it seems Sunderland fans are the only people in the entire galaxy that defend him, I wonder why that could be?

The reality is that as usual the truth is somewhere in the middle. When you get an extreme on one side you tend to get it on the other.
The vast majority of people in the world of football probably know very little about him and care even less.
He does seem a bit of a twat but then so do many football club owners and business men, again I’m not sure that many people care.
He has made many mistakes, but he has cleared up your financial mess largely and got you in a reasonable position without mortgaging the future of the club on it.

I’d be ower the moon if short had us running like Ashley has the mags, what’s he done wrong like?. He said publicly that he can’t compete with city Man Utd etc and he won’t be tossing all his money in. I honestly don’t get the shit he gets from the media etc. If Stewart gets us up and looking like a mid table premier league side without putting the club into massive debts I’ll be ower the moon with that.

Who appointed Benitez and made him one of the highest paid managers in Europe.

Just read the twitter comments, they are just unreal, they take delusion to a whole new level.

Didn't take much scrolling to get to the "ya divvint undastand" tweets

Predictable and laughable

I also understand why Ashley isn’t being held to ransom by Rafa, Rafa is trying the power game with a bloke who likes to be the alpha and doesn’t care if people hate him.
Absolutely, I’m pretty sure that Ashley will just dig his heels in further, usually only one winner in a battle of wills with Ashley.

Cos you have your daft mag blinkers on? Fancy coming on a Sunderland message board to criticise Sunderland fans

We're not competing with Bournemouth, let alone West Ham, let alone Man Utd or Man City.
We're not asking him to put "his" money into transfers and facility investment. Some of the money the club has received from player sales, sponsorship and the huge tv deals would be fine thank you very much.
I think you do understand why he gets rightly criticised by some of the media. He's an owner that doesn't have any ambition for Newcastle United, he doesn't care about the past or the future, he wants it to exist as a Premier League club so it can act as a massive advert for his shop.

I don't get the line "Ashley appointed Benitez" as if it's got anything to do with him. He wasn't shrewdly courting Benitez, and you're ignoring his entire history of appointments if you think he was. Keegan, Kinnear, Shearer, Hughton, Pardew, Carver then Benitez. One of these things is not like the other.

Do you think a petishyun raised by an MP is a good idea?

Bournemouth West Ham etc have had more seasons on the gravy train in the past few seasons. Didnt you’s spend more than those two the past few seasons?. Yous we’re one of the highest spenders the other season in all of Europe no?.

I’m sure yous will spend money this season, West Ham have owners that are willing to put the club in debt with there spending and have just had a win fall of a free stadium and a big influx of cash that brung. The outrage ower Ashley you must admit it’s overblown man, a portion of your fan base acts like he’s the worst owner of any football club ever.
