Gerry Adams

As much as I despise the man and everything he stands for, these attacks just undermine all of the hard work by both sides to sit down, and end the conflict.
Hard work by both sides?

You mean compensation paid out and prisoners released.
“We don’t negotiate with terrorists”
What a load of shite.

We will see how resolute he is now.

It’s never stopped they just don’t bomb the peace keepers.

What’s the alternative? People still dying in an ongoing conflict? I wasn’t happy with the release of prisoners, but I’d take peace over war any day of the week.

There’s been no peace between them. This ain’t the first incident. Like I say they just don’t bomb the peace keepers or the mainland, that’s because we have paid millions in compo (some deservedly). And released prisoners.
The alternative was to at least make the terrorists serve out their sentences. And from the day the agreement was signed no compensation to be paid out. Even now they are after some of gaddaffis dosh.

I’d like to think that both sides have enjoyed peace for so long that they simply won’t stand for escalation. But things like this tend to snowball unfortunately

Anyone else seeing the massive hypocrisy in this bombing and subsequent condemning by Sinn Fein. Blowing the Kant to pieces although probs a healthy dose of karma, won’t do the peace process any good. Thankfully it’s from ‘the same side’. We will probs still get the blame somehow like.

Thought it's UK victims of IRA bombing seeking compensation from Libya?
