Official figure yet.??? .. 1000 season tickets sold since last night, well done to everyone and keep going

Worst win record of all english professional teams by some distance.
Back to back relegations.
No players yet signed (so we don't know how well we'll do).
20,000 season tickets sold and counting
Surpassed last seasons highest average attendance in season tickets alone.

Our fans are up there with the best in the country, only non sunderland supporting idiot would dent that. Imagine if we were good! Imagine if we had an airport?!

Imagine if we had a greggs drive thru.

Probably due to the shambles the previous regime left behind.
Probably. Infrastructure requires serious time and planning.

Why this is masterclass PR

1) Fans confidence and enthusiasm in the club restored
2) The sheer talk of these numbers automatically enhances our transfer appeal to players at this level
3) The boost in morale, combined with the turnover in ownership and management, creates a clean slate which kills the negative attitude which brought us down two divisions.
4) The team itself is boosted by confidence from the club's support

We're in an exceptional position now to be making good signings and begin an immediate promotion push. There is no legitimate reason why we should not be challenging for the league, none. The resources, the leadership, the spirit and momentum are all there.
Good post that. I agree with all of it. Ha'way

I don’t think we can beat the highest attendance with the PC closed but the highest average is well within the grasp of our magnificent supporters.
