League and cup double?

I think we would sell 40k easy. It's an excuse for a class weekend as much as anything else.

It's still embarrassing though.

We averaged 27k last season...embarrassing that people wouldn't go to watch us at the sol which is very cheap but would pay a lot to watch a game hundreds of miles away

It's an awful competition.

As i said before, it would be totally different to the Man City game in 2014. That was a proper cup final, if you think the atmosphere/excitement would be the same then you're going to be disappointed

Of course the competition isn't the same as the FA Cup or League Cup, but a trip to Wembley is a great excuse to visit our national stadium whilst taking over London in our droves.

The atmosphere would be just as good if we were playing good football and our fans are on a high.

No way the atmosphere be just as good. I speak to a lot of match-going fans and they share the same opinion as me on the competition.

I remember back in the previous third division season, we could have done that double, but lost to Hartlepool in the cup qf in a gale force wind affected game at roker park.

We did get to Wembley that season though, as well as winning the third division

You dont know that mate, its a grey are i reckon....no div 1 clubs have academy 1 status

I'm pretty sure all league clubs below the championship are required to play their first team.

I hope so anyhow as a game against the mags this coming season would be a one to look forward to.

It doesn't matter as we are in league 1.

They all sound boring as. Like you.

You're the boring one. Getting excited about a tinpot competition and a trip to Wembley. You'd probably get your face painted red and white, have a foam finger and buy popcorn in the ground.

That's the spirit. We should be building a squad with the hunger to want to win everything.
I disagree. We need to build a team who can really turn it on against the 'big boys', whilst still being capable of feigning and flopping against lesser teams.
