That's him. Just had the season of his life by most accounts. Not saying he's the answer to our goalkeeping woes but him being from Sunderland and doing well makes him an intriguing discussion.

Cost pennies to buy him out his new deal, like less than 100k. He’s better than what we have but the problem is Steele and ruitter are on decent contracts so they’d have to be shifted first. Kept 11 clean sheets in 17 and his decision making is impeccable, something we can’t say about our current crop. Agility and handling wise he’s just as good.

I've seen him numerous times over the years during his various spells playing for Queen of the South.

Difficult to say exactly given the "quality" of some of the opposing teams but definitely would be a vast improvement over Ruiter or Steele.

Always reminded me a bit of Lionel Perez. Playing style that is, he doesn't have some hair or owt

Can’t remember where I read it (I think it was a Bain interview) but it was said that the premier league signings did NOT have a further cut because of relegation to L1, but those who signed last season when we already in the championship did.
