"Geordies love entertaining football"
Which fans of other clubs hate entertaining football, and would prefer their team to grind out draws and play like a bad Sunday pub league team?
Seems a more likely candidate for disco pants than Donald tbf.Charlie Fookin Baby.....
Must be a T-Shirt in this from those ALS Knackas.....
CorrectHate this bollocks. There is nothing to 'get'
the culture at Newcastle is delusional and uniqueOf course every club has its own culture, and its own attitude. For example, the culture at Leeds is (imo) aggressive, whereas the culture at Fulham (imo) is much more welcoming and friendly. The culture of a club is the sum of the collective experience of those connected, built up over the years and moulded by the amount of success (and failure), its heroes, its sense of where it stands in the game, etc etc.
Good point.

Are you taking the piss?
Agree, for a lot involved in football it is simply a job, career, stepping stone with no real affinity. However, some do have a connection even though not being fans or from the area, e.g. Hurley, Quinn, Ball.I think there is, and Short, Bain, Hutchinson, Byrne et al didnt get it.
All fans of every club wants what we want. We're no different
OK, so why do we support a certain club and not any other? If all clubs and fans are the same how come I don't just go and watch Forest?
I think there is, and Short, Bain, Hutchinson, Byrne et al didnt get it.
Agree. To many people think that their club is different and in some way more special. It's not.
But what has made our club stand out has been the low expectations. A culture that was wrong on so many levels. And it was confirmed by the new owners - we've been a place to come and take the piss!
Because we are born in Sunderland you balloon. Did you think fans sit down, jot down their own characteristics, study the history and traditions of each club and then see which one is a best fit?
We like players who put a shift in, get stuck in, attack, and win games. Like everyone else.
All fans want to see a winning side with players giving their all . We're no different to anyone elseNo are you? You just stated that ''all'' fans want the same thing, I would say that every club and every fan base have a different culture, however subtle. To simply say all fans are the same and want the same things is shite.
