People are laughing at this, but I'd say that was a strategic and shrewd investment by Ashley with a long term perspective in mind.

Look at the alternative of what Short has done to us instead. Investing a fortune to get out and back to the wealth of the Premier League in comparison to literally spending nothing and ending up in league one.

We have zero debt.

The Mags lost £90m.

Ashley says RB can have everything the club generates. The club generated nothing last year,
 
Ashley gets far more stick off the mags than he deserves mind. Let's not forget they've been after his head for not bankrolling Benitez all this season. Now this £90m loss will be down to his mismanagement as well no doubt.
