Ever been offered a bribe at work?

You could have been the next Dirk Diggler. Sounds very strange to be honest - I don't think anybody would have gone along with it.

There used to be a lad on here who asked the resident ladies if they wanted to be in such productions. I don't know if he posts under another username that isn't banned.

Shit you’ve took me back a long way there. Had some cracking tales n was a canny lad.

Used to get 'incentives' from suppliers when working in kitchens, wasn't much but some of the bigger places the chefs are basically getting another wage in kick backs.

I sometimes get stuff to offer to contacts when I'm trying to blag extra space for promos. Store managers usually get excited by something like a free pen

Happens all the time in the West but using legitimate methods.

Whenever I see a contract with signing bonuses, roundtripping, risk/reward share etc... they are realistically done to win a deal and then there will be incentives for the money to get to partners and senior managers.

It's not as blatant as slipping someone an envelope but amounts to the same

We had a couple frog marched out of the building just over a year ago. They took loads.

The hearing starts soon I believe.

I saw a council lad take a back hander at the tip. Van drove in and got rid of his rubbish. Slipped the worker a tenner.

Tbf it's better than it being tipped by the side of the road.

Loads of bribes me..

Can you push this through a but quicker and I'll get you a pint.. a box of doughnuts will appear on the desk

All big stuff greasing the hands of industry

Is it still classed as a bribe if you receive a little unexpected 'thank you' in the post a few weeks later such as a £200 bottle of single malt?

I was on site with a few guys from one of the big supermarkets and offered to pick up some bacon rolls for everyone. They refused to let me buy them as it might be considered a bribe and they then had to drive to their local store for a breakfast in the canteen as that was procedure. Reckon if I'd offered them a use of me Biro they'd have been on the phone to HR to double check they were allowed.
