With me it’s two things;
1. If he doesn’t go. It’ll be dressed up as because he loves the mags, city and clerb
2. If he does go, he leaves a success having done nowt wrong, it’s ashleys fault and knowing then jammy bastards they’ll end up with the next Sean Dyke.

West Ham have just cleared the decks by getting rid of Moyes and his entire staff.

I'd say they've already received positive vibes from Benitez.

Now they'll have to begin the process of asking for permission to speak to him.

This 'leak' is just a little nudge to get the media circus on parade.

It was reported earlier they have confirmed they will have a replacement within 10 days so they seem to have already identified a target and are confident of getting them in, whoever it may be.
 
I dont think he will move there,will use it to get a couple of million more to spend,buy some shite then complain he cant compete,hes under no pressure to compete at Newcastle,if it goes tits up he doesnt take any flak,if they have a reasonable season he becomes mayor
 
Apart from the pull of London he would be daft to go there like, Newcastle are a bigger and better club than West Ham will ever be, and arguably have a worse set of owners than Ashley.
