The Yanny v Laurel Debate

I turned the volume right down and heard Yanny. Heard Laurel on full volume

Mine is probably due to being almost deaf in one ear and having an implant in the other - which when I held it against that ear I heard Laurel. Still a strange experience.

At first I heard ‘Laurel’ in a deep robot voice, then I heard ‘Yanny’ in a very weird voice

Yanny tonstart with then I listened to a version where the frequency is changed and I heard Laurel. No chance I can hear Yanny now.

I'm an old sod of 60 and it clearly came out as Yanny
btw I also suffer from tinnitus

That happened to me.

Dinner time on Radio 4 I heard yanny.

Teatime on Radio 5 I heard laurel.

About 20 minutes later again on Radio 5 I heard laurel.
